Buland Darwaza, Fatehpur Sikri

Anguri Bagh
The Mughal Emperor Shah Jehan built this amazing Anguri Bagh or Garden of Grapes in 1637 with a brilliant Artisan team. With the Khas Mahal to the east and the red sandstone on three sides, it was a large square of zenana flats or a residence for royal ladies. There was a marble platform with a spring in the center and the garden itself was divided into rooms by a complex geometric pattern.

Khas Mahal
The Khas Mahal served as the private residence of the Mughal emperor in Delhi. The building is located within the Red Fort, a largely defensive government building located in the city center. The Khas Mahal (Special or Private Palace) dates from the time of Emperor Shah Jahan and was built between 1631-40. With pure white marble, it was once decorated with freshly painted floral designs. To the east, it faces the Yamuna, and to the west of Anguri Bagh, a plot of land with a four-story plan with water stations, springs, and cassettes. The palace is surrounded by red sand dunes, covered with white mud, with curved rings derived from traditional Indian sculptures.
