If you are driving from Delhi, the journey takes about 5 hours. The last option is to take a flight from Delhi to Dehradun and then take a taxi or bus from Dehradun to Rishikesh. The flight takes about 1 hour and the journey by taxi or bus takes about 2 hours.

By Bus - Rishikesh is well connected by road and there are various state-run as well as private bus operators that ply their vehicles to and from the town. The journey by bus usually takes around 8 hours.

By Train - The nearest railway station to Rishikesh is Haridwar, which is about 20 km away. There are several trains that ply between Delhi and Haridwar, with a journey time of around 5 hours. From Haridwar, one can take a taxi or a local bus to reach Rishikesh.

By Car - Rishikesh can be reached by car from Delhi in about 6 hours via the NH58 highway.

By flight/air - The Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun is the closest airport to Rishikesh, located about 35 km away. There are several flights that operate between Delhi and Dehradun on a daily basis. From the airport, one can take a taxi or a local bus to reach Rishikesh.
